The breaking news on Friday (Venus day) is brought to us by tonight’s intensely potent Pluto/Venus conjunction in Capricorn. Sometimes it really feels like the planets are writing the news, and this is one of those days. Since late last night, three major stories have broken revealing sex crimes committed by men in power – and all are getting the karmic retribution they deserve, served fresh by Pluto, planet of reckonings.
First the handling of a case against #JeffreyEpstein, notorious pedophile and child rapist (and not incidentally, a good friend of #DonaldTrump) was deemed a crime. And this is also not incidental in the least – the man who allowed Epstein to get off with a slap on the wrist and left his victims without justice – he just happens to be Trump’s current labor secretary, Alex Acosta. Now the victims can finally pursue their cases, after they were raped and used as sex slaves years ago, when they were young teens. Next, a sex trafficking ring was broken up in Jupiter, Florida, about twenty minutes away from Mar-a-lago. It ensnared #RobertCraft, the owner of the Patriots and you guessed it – a friend of Trump’s. Finally (and the day is still young) #RKelly was FINALLY indicted for his long history of pedophilia. As someone on Twitter said midday on Friday — “today is like scumbag Woodstock.”
The astrological backbone of this evolving news cycle is Pluto, planet of karma, of secrets, of the illicit, forbidden – and yes, sometimes the planet of criminal acts. Note that the key commonality between the three men involved in today’s news is an aggregation of great wealth – this is key.
Note: 2024 brings the first Pluto Return EVER for America, and the transit is long – we’re in it already. Today’s news is a drop in the bucket, but it distills the theme – we are watching our culture transform into one of justice for all the people who’ve been trampled, used, enslaved and harmed by the men who’ve abused their power. #Metoo is part of this. #BlackLivesMatter is part of this. Indigenous rights and the fight against climate change: they’re all a part of this. Pluto grinds everything it touches down to dust. Pluto is at the very core of what’s happening in the United States for the last several and years over the coming years. We’re witnessing karmic retribution for all the crimes committed in the name of patriarchy and capitalism since the country was born in 1776.
As Pluto briefly conjuncts Venus, planet of the divine feminine and representative of women in our culture, we are seeing more of the chipping away of the patriarchal power and wealth that upholds systemic abuse and victimization of the female body. The victims of all of these men are no longer invisible in the shadow of male power and wealth – which is often just a metaphor for violence.
