All of the love songs, lyrics and cliches most definitely apply to this Full Moon: let love rule, groove is in the heart, all of my love.. you name it! Our hearts are being stretched about as wide and open as they can be due to this lunation’s close proximity to Jupiter in Leo. Although on the other hand, we could be feeling like we can’t get enough love no matter how much adoration and attention is thrown our way. Plus, the Uranus aspect in Aries approaching the South Node could be triggering a lot of uncomfortable restlessness and impatience. We want it all and we want it right now. Sometimes no love in the world seems to be enough because in truth it’s never really any external that we are looking for. I think Rumi or Osho (I can’t keep track of all of the Facebook photo quotes anymore) said that which you are looking is looking for you. It’s that kind of Full Moon. Light the sacred flame from within.
Everything surrounding our emotional heart kingdom is amplified now. This is a time to love in a big and generous way. Not just that one special person, or you’re missing the other side of the Aquarian polarity. Loving big means falling in love with all of it. As many as possible like the great Gurus. This is what the Jupiter is bringing to the table. The wisdom of the Leo archetype. Love magnanimously.
The only ones who will suffer are those who withhold love or barricade their hearts out of pride or arrogance. This totally goes against the noble and adoring energy of Leo. This is also not a time to be stingy with your loved ones in any way, shape or form. The power and the joy is in the giving not the receiving while under the Leo influence. Our childlike energies are highlighted now. In fact, if you’re feeling too old and stuffy, spend some time around children and lighten up in honor of the Leo Moon. This influence should have us all feeling highly creative, romantic and spilling over with affection to share. Leo is also the sign of the leader, the rock star and our more regal tendencies. We may play up our pomp and celebrate our star status under this fiery Full Moon. It’s important to be generous with the compliments, appreciation and respect for others as well. When in doubt, give whatever it is you wish to receive and trust that it will all come rushing back to when you need it most.
