Full Moon in Pisces: Heart Shaped Box – The Saturn Sisters Full Moon in Pisces: Heart Shaped Box – The Saturn Sisters

“Just because you’re paranoid, don’t mean they’re not after you.”
— Kurt Cobain (Pisces)
On August 31, the full Blue Moon (“blue” meaning the second full Moon in the same month) in the mystical and illusive world of Pisces is a reminder to get back in touch with our souls — and our soles.

Pisces rules the feet, but ironically when the Pisces-Neptune energy is strong as it is during this full Moon, we have a tendency to lose touch with the ground as we leave our bodies, leave the physical realm in search for something beyond the confines of normal time and space. This is why Pisces is often associated with a lack of boundaries. Everything is permeable, watery and so subtle that it almost feels invisible. Pisces is the part of us that would rather exist in a fantastical world filled with our chosen gods and angels. Pisces represents our mystical longing for the sublime.

This full Moon is very closely tied in with Neptune (the ruler of Pisces) only exaggerating the theme. It’s also the same day when Mercury enters Virgo, so we may feel the polarizing push and pull between fantasy and reality, duty and escapism. We may also feel like we have very thin skin during this time and thus the tendency to take things personally is almost a given. Watch out for paranoid projections as it is almost impossible to discern between what we are feeling and what is actually happening in the cinematic script of our lives.

If you can consciously choose fantasy, spiritual relief or even theater, you can avoid the negative side of Pisces: delusions of persecution. Use this time to pay attention to your inner world and the messages streaming forth from the invisible realms. The veil between reality and fantasy is paper thin, as is the veil between this world and the spirit world. Stay grounded and centered and you can safely enter the domain of the supernatural.
