One becomes as one thinks–Swami Brahmananda

Today’s Full Moon initiates eclipse season, Mercury clearing his shadow and the anxious anticipation of this season’s flowering. The Pisces-Virgo season reminds us how essential it is to stay connected with our dreams and those daily rituals and longings of our soul that keep the magic and glamour flowing. It’s the time of year when we remember that we are spirits in a material world. In other words, it’s a month of soul retrieval from any of those addictions, devils or perfectionist tendencies that drug us from remembering that everything we need is inside of us. The external world is merely a projection of the inner. We officially start the eclipse season, so take good care of your health and inner world. Get extra rest, journal, meditate and breathe deeply.

This Full Moon is in a fiery quincunx with a load of planets in Aries. No wonder March is starting to feel like a 5-alarm fire filled with moment after moment of fever-pitch intensity. Are you awake? Present?

Can you feel the inner battle between standing at hyper-vigilant attention, aware of every detail, flaw, bad eating habit and unfinished piece of work screaming for your immediate attention…

VERSUS

An overwhelming sleepiness luring you back into snooze button marathons or some other totally dreamy unconscious paradise via your addiction of choice?

Today’s Full Moon brings the Virgo-Pisces polarity into a rather neurotic and confusing dance… but with tremendous healing potential. The Sun is joined with the wounded-healer, Chiron highlighting our addictions and abandonment wounds opposite the Full Moon in Virgo, joined with Black Moon Lilith, highlighting the need to purify our bodies and release any critical and perfection-driven defenses that drain our soul.

Luckily Virgo is the mutable and magical smartypants sign that can tackle and problem-solve herself out of anything. In other words, you’ve got this. Just work your dream and dream your work on a consistent and committed bite-sized basis. If you would like to literally start working with your dreams on a daily basis, join the next round of Project 40: 40 Days of Dreams starting on the next New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces, on March 20th!
